A Focused 1:1 Session One private 70 minute session for a question, decision, relationship, conflict, or experience that needs your full attention.
Sometimes you do not need another program or an ongoing commitment. You need a place to bring one thing that is happening now.
A decision you keep circling. A relationship you cannot quite make sense of. An emotion that feels larger than the immediate situation. A professional, creative, personal, or spiritual question that needs more attention than you can give it alone. During this session, we slow down, get specific about what you are experiencing, and explore what may be happening beneath the question or difficulty you bring. You will leave with greater clarity about what is happening and at least one specific way to continue working with it after our session.
Clarity does not always mean having an answer. Sometimes it means more spaciousness, wiser questions, a new way of meeting what is happening, or a deeper understanding of your experience.
What’s possible during our time together?
Seventy minutes will not resolve what took years to form. I want us to have realistic expectations about what one session can do. One session can change your relationship to what you bring, and that change is real.
Sometimes the change is something you can feel in your body. Sometimes a question that has been circling finally takes shape and moves you into new possibilities. You may begin to understand what is happening beneath the immediate problem, why a decision has felt impossible, or why a relationship or conflict has been so difficult to make sense of.
A feeling, need, or truth that has been difficult to reach may become more accessible. You may recognize where your own desire has been tangled with fear, obligation, urgency, shame, or someone else’s expectations. At other times, the shift is in how you are able to be with the experience itself. You may find that you can stay with an emotion you had been trying to solve, suppress, or move past. You may see the situation from a perspective you could not reach alone. Or you may feel the relief of being accompanied inside something you have been carrying by yourself.
You may leave with a clearer sense of what needs your attention now and what does not need to be forced. That might mean having a conversation, setting a boundary, taking action, resting, grieving, reflecting, gathering more information, allowing more time, or recognizing that ongoing support would be useful. Sometimes the most important clarity is understanding what kind of support you need next, whether that involves me or not.
The outcome may not be resolution. It may be movement, a more honest question, a clearer understanding of what you need, or the beginning of a different way of meeting what is already here.
